Building strategies

After an analysis of the building condition and market potential, it's only a short step to the proper building strategy and planning can then start.

Which building strategy is best?

There are a few clear rules of thumb:

  • If the building is in good condition and there's good market potential, as a rule it is recommended to do a total renovation because this results in a clear increase in the value of the property.
  • If the building is in good condition and there's poor market potential, it's likely better to do a partial renovation because this helps retain the property's value or increase it accordingly.
  • If the building is in poor shape and there's good market potential, you should start thinking about replacing it with new construction.
  • And if the building is in poor shape and market potential is also poor, make investments only as necessary to make it possible to further use the building.
