The house is in a very safe, quiet and expat-friendly area of Basel (4055), a few steps from Kannenfeldpark (one of the biggest parks in Basel) and Bachgraben public bath as well as sports areas. It is also close to the university area and Novartis Campus.

The new Felix-Platter hospital is basically in front of it as well as are public Kindergarden and primary school (a few hundred meters to go). Highway entry is also close by to get to Germany / France/ south regions. Drive to ISB is in the highway approx 16 minutes.

Public transport is excellent as bus number 36 and tram number 3 are just around the corner while bus number 50 (Wasenboden), 31 and 38 (Thomaskirche) are just one bus stop away.

Private parking is available currently close by and public one is quite easy to find in this area.
