Created by Franca Sozzani, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, in partnership with Massimiliano Locatelli from CLS Architetti, the loft apartment has been featured in the media for its unique, innovative design. The designers crafted a living space that is as open, comfortable and quiet as possible, without losing touch with the busy metropolis by celebrating the views of Zurich from every vantage point of the apartment. 

Large, eclectically-shaped windows frame captivating views of the Alps, the lake and the city. Dark wooden floor and large rust-coloured panels create a solemn atmosphere animated by postcard-ready snapshots of the city. The interior is masterfully divided into multi-functional spaces without interrupting the flow between various areas in the apartment. The shape of the cube is artfully used across the apartment to introduce functional areas and create natural room dividers.

The lower floor hosts dining and living rooms, a loggia and a guest toilet.The living and the dining rooms are separated by a black metal cube-shaped structure, which houses the kitchen on the inside and doubles as a library on the outside. The walls of the cube can carry thousands of books and magazines. 

The living room benefits from a five-meter-high ceiling and a large panoramic window with a built-in sitting area.  Another area adjacent to the living room with a breathtaking view of Uetliberg mountain and a built-in sitting area can be used as a reading or a breakfast spot. The kitchen is completed in stainless steel and equipped with high-quality Gaggenau appliances including a 90 cm-wide oven, oversized fridge and 5-zone induction cooker.

The “stairs box” encapsulated with rust-colored oxidised iron panels leads to the upper floor designated as a private area for sleeping and working. The upper floor hosts three rooms separated by sliding doors and a cube, which houses a shower room. The master bedroom features a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with spectacular views of the city. One of the upper-floor rooms contains a built-in projector and can be set-up as home cinema. 

Additional natural light comes from a myriad of sky-lights. 

A special feature is the loggia, ornamented with a green leafy ceiling. In the summer, it serves as a spacious (closed) balcony and in cooler seasons, it is an atmospheric conservatory high above the city.

Residents of the prominent black-and-white tower can take advantage of the services offered by hotel Sheraton such as fitness center and room service. Your guests can stay at the hotel or join you for dinner at the restaurant.  

The apartment has two underground parking space, (at additional cost).
