Even before entering the duplex, one perceives the greatness of its history. The entrance is from the ancient path that led to the Lower City and the Grund, now covered and enclosed in the Cloister. The duplex has developed in the annexes of the cloister, the oldest of which date back to the 18th century. The back of the duplex overlooks the Corniche and offers an exceptional view of the Cité Judiciaire, the modern buildings of the Lower City, the Grund, and the Neundorf. On the lower level, the living room is located in the more recent part of the building, with large windows that open onto the terrace. The older building houses the kitchen and dining room. The high windows serve both levels. The modern kitchen is fully equipped (extra-large cooking surface, integrated extractor hood, ovens, large refrigerator, and freezer) and ideal for preparing large banquets that can be served in the adjacent dining room, which can comfortably accommodate a table for 10 people. On the upper level, at the top of the stairs, there is a large corridor that can be transformed into a gallery or library. There are also 3 double bedrooms, all with uninterrupted views of the Lower City. Each bedroom has its own dressing room and bathroom.
