On the Martinsgasse side lies the "Bärenfelserhof" from 1602, extended with a wing and rear house on the Stapfelberg. In the courtyard inside the property, there is a former textile factory from 1833. The entire ensemble is a protected monument.

After various conversions as a bathhouse, laundry, and women's workplace, the property has been occupied by institutions of the University of Basel and the Museum of Cultures since around 1916. These institutions have left the property. The ensemble is being renovated and put to new use. In the former factory and in the wing and rear house, apartments are to be built. In the front house on the Martinsgasse, spaces for services have been created.

The 3rd and 4th floors can only be rented together, as the spaces are internally connected by a staircase. The total area is 286m2
