This furnished apartment is located in the Altstadt Grossbasel, the 1st district of Basel and one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. A large part of Basel's culture, gastronomy, and shopping is concentrated in this beautiful area. Neighborhood highlights include the Marktplatz, where you'll find the Basel Town Hall and a bustling farmers' market. There are wonderful restaurants throughout the neighborhood, whether you're looking for Swiss or international cuisine. The Basel Natural History Museum is located in the Altstadt Grossbasel, a great outing spot for the whole family, as well as the unique Toy Museum on the edge of the neighborhood. You can easily get around the neighborhood and commute to other parts of Basel using local buses and trams.
