Description

Shared room in Weissenbühl – new flatmates wanted

Since my two current flatmates are unfortunately moving out, I am looking for one or two new people.

Our apartment is beautifully located in Weissenbühl in Bern. It is very bright, spacious and cozy – with many plants and everything you need to live. The kitchen already has quite a lot of material and the apartment is also well furnished. At the same time, I would like it if we could design the shared rooms together and make them our common home.

Regarding the distribution:
If one person moves in and we live together as two, the rent is approximately CHF 900.– per person and we still have a common living room.
If two people move in and we live together as three, the rent is approximately CHF 600.– per person. In terms of space, it works well, but then we would no longer have a separate living room.

About me: I am 28 years old and a social educator, and I work in shift service. Therefore, I am sometimes at home a lot and then also away for longer periods.

I also live with my two cats. We have only recently moved in here, so they are currently still house cats. They are uncomplicated and rather reserved – most of the time they stay in my room and need some time to trust new people.

For the shared flat life, I wish for open, tolerant and respectful people, where everyone can feel at home. We don't have to be a shared flat that cooks together every evening and does everything together. But if a spontaneous dinner, a glass of wine, a game evening or just a bit of sitting together happens, I would be happy. At the same time, each person should be able to have their own daily routine and free space.

When it comes to cleanliness, I am relatively uncomplicated: instead of a very strict cleaning plan, I think it would be nice to find out together what works for us. Maybe each person takes on the tasks that they like, and together we make sure that everyone feels comfortable in the apartment.

If you feel that this could be a good fit for you, please write to me a bit about yourself, your daily life and what you wish for in a shared flat.

I'm really looking forward to your messages and I'm excited to see who I'll be living with soon.

In high-demand areas, property listers find themselves pre-selecting prospects to manage the number of viewings. Timing – first come, first served – is key, but other criteria can also influence selection. A high income doesn’t always mean an advantage – be honest about it.
