Description

Cozy but small on the 2nd floor of a beautiful old building in the Stadtbach quarter. 10 minutes on foot from the train station, close to the highway and yet relatively quiet. The room is oriented northeast, but it doesn't seem dark. It has a built-in closet.
Available from 16.9.

The apartment also has a large bathroom with 2 sinks, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and a large living room with a southwest balcony for shared use.
The apartment (including the room) will be professionally repainted before moving in.

Additionally, there is a basement and an attic compartment. The house community also has a bike cellar, covered outdoor bike parking, and two washing machines plus a Secomat.

If relevant, you can buy a district parking card from the city of Bern and usually find something quickly and nearby in the blue zone. Parking spaces are also regularly rented out in the area for around CHF 100 / month.

About us:
I - your future roommate - am 40 years old, employed, often on the go for sports, more of a morning person than a night owl, and would describe myself as rather quiet and fairly sociable and open-minded. I like good coffee and enjoy cooking (99% vegetarian). I've been living in the apartment for a while and am now taking it over since my previous roommate is moving out. Accordingly, I also plan to rearrange the common areas over the next few months.

The previous shared apartment life was quite independent of each other, but also often came together for joint meals, chatting, or playing sports. Finding something like that again would be optimal for me, but it can also be more practical. The house community is colorful and very sympathetic.

We're looking for:
I think a similarly quiet, employed person over 30 would fit in well. Non-smoker (or not regular). Weekday residents would also be a good fit. You get a lot of each other in the apartment - if the daily routines are very different, you'll probably get on each other's nerves at some point. The rest is based on mutual consideration, tolerance, and open communication. You should have a certain sense of cleanliness, but not extreme ;-)

I look forward to your message with a brief description of who you are and what you're looking for. If the basis looks good, I would then suggest getting to know each other.
