Roommate wanted: shared room in Bern
From November 1, 2026, a shared room will be available at Wabernstrasse 60, 3007 Bern. The 3-room apartment is relatively central in a quiet part of the Mattenhof-Weissbühl quarter. The Welle 7 (train station), shopping options (Coop, Aldi, bakery, local store), and the Aare river are all within walking distance.
The old-building apartment has 2 bedrooms, a large living room with balcony, a kitchen with small balcony, and a bathroom. My personal highlight is the large balcony with a view of the green area behind the house. The well-equipped kitchen with bar table is perfect for joint cooking or a cozy breakfast. The available room is approximately 17m², has three built-in closets, and a large window front with morning sun.
About the shared living situation: I like it when people don't just live next to each other, but also enjoy cooking together, spending an evening in front of the TV, or chatting over a beer or coffee. At the same time, I think it's essential that both have their own daily routine and retreat.
I am 33 years old and work as a historian/exhibition maker, currently spending a lot of time in my home office. I attend handball training twice a week. In our shared living situation, I value openness, good communication, and considerate interaction. Cleanliness and order are also important to me, although it's okay to leave things a bit messy sometimes :)
