Our 4.5-room shared apartment at Eigerplatz is losing two out of three flatmates.
As for the location: absolutely top. Coop, Migros, and Denner are within a 5-minute reach. There are good cafes around the corner, and the best pizza in Bern (da Nino) is almost directly in front of the door. You need 10-15 minutes to get to the train station on foot or 5 minutes by public transport (buses and trams run at a minute-by-minute pace).
About the rooms: the two free rooms cost CHF 710 each (plus the usual suspects like WLAN, electricity, etc.).
About me (Oli, 25): I'm studying in Basel and therefore passionately play the commuter during the week. Our shared apartment life is uncomplicated and relaxed. We all have our own rhythm and appreciate being able to simply close the door behind us. At the same time, I enjoy spontaneous evenings together, cozy sitting on the balcony, or a classic kitchen chat.
