Location and accessibility

The village of Hasliberg begins behind the Brünig Pass and stretches over a length of nine kilometers over the south-facing sun terrace over the four villages: Hohfluh, Wasserwendi, Goldern, and Reuti. The higher region has been used as a summer pasture for livestock for centuries. With the construction of the railways from 1960, the tourist development also began. Hasliberg is located in the heart of Switzerland and is accessible via the A8 and the Zentralbahn. Both the A8 and the Zentralbahn run over the Brünig Pass, which is open all year round. The accessibility function as part of the public transport system is ensured by a post bus line and the Meiringen-Reuti route by the cable car.
