Chiasso is a city of encounter and comparison and is known as an important center of traffic and commerce, of sorting and transit. Along the Corso San Gottardo many events take place that attract the attention of visitors throughout the year.

Among these are the Jazz Festival, the Nebiopoli Carnival with the large masked parade and Festate. In the cultural area, just a few steps from the center, a theater, the Max Museum and the Spazio Officina offer interesting cultural proposals.

In the Penz area, one of the thematic paths through the vineyards leads the visitor to one of the most vineyard-rich areas of the region.
