Description
Room description
The approximately 15 m² large room and the gallery are on the 2nd floor. You would share the bathroom and the gallery in front of the room with Sandro. The house offers a spacious living and dining area with balconies on two sides as well as a modern community kitchen with five individual refrigerators. The garden with a seating area invites you to linger and grill in the summer. In the basement, there is plenty of storage space and opportunities for hobbies like darts or fitness. The ancillary costs are 150 CHF per month and cover internet, water, electricity, and commonly used household utensils. The room could be occupied from October 1st, 2026, or earlier by arrangement.
We are looking for...
...our number 5! We would be happy to have a new roommate. If you are around our age, speak German, and are looking for something long-term, we would be happy to hear from you.
Our shared flat life should be a good balance between communal time and privacy. We appreciate spontaneous shared flat evenings or good conversations over a beer or wine just as much as our retreat room.
If it fits, it fits – we're looking forward to getting to know you!
We would be very happy if you could write us a few lines about yourself.
We are....
An open-minded, creative bunch:
Mario (34) is a software developer and the plant whisperer of the shared flat – balconies and gardens are his domain.
Danijel (44) is a mechanical engineer, chip aficionado, shared flat grandpa, loves to ride a bike, and is currently part-time with us.
Sandro (42) is a teacher, our in-house country egg, is often on the road with the camper, and is currently trying to sell his folding bikes.
Pauline (32) is a speech therapist, lives in the attic, likes Lego, likes to hike, and is the plant whisperer of the shared flat.
Location
Our shared flat is located in the charming old village center of Oberwinterthur – quiet, yet central. The Oberwinterthur train station is only a 5-minute walk away and offers excellent connections to the region.

Bus lines: Bus lines 1 and 10 connect the Oberwinterthur station directly to the Winterthur main station. The journey takes about 15 minutes.
Night traffic: The N1 night line runs between Oberwinterthur, Winterthur, Töss, and Dättnau and is ideal for nighttime excursions.
Direct connections to other cities
Frauenfeld: You can reach Frauenfeld by train in just about 15 minutes.
Aarau: Via the S11, you can reach Aarau directly in about 1 hour.
Shopping and leisure opportunities
A Coop is only 200 m away, and at the Römertor, you will find a pharmacy, post office, Denner, Migros, and Aldi.
The forest can be reached in 10 minutes on foot – perfect for walks or sports activities.
The Eulachpark also offers space for relaxation and leisure activities.
