Description

Shared accommodation startup in district 6 – we're looking for 2 new flatmates 🏡
We're Robin and Thilo, both in our early 30s, and we've got the approval for a freshly renovated 5.5-room old building apartment on Stapferstrasse 12 in district 6. Move-in is from October 1, 2026 – now we're looking for two people to make this a real home.
We don't want a classic utility shared apartment where you silently meet at the fridge from time to time. At the same time, no one has to attend a joint dinner every evening. We simply want a shared apartment where you can live together, spontaneously do something, and just as naturally have your peace.
About the apartment:
There are two free rooms with approximately 16 m² each and two community rooms as the heart of the apartment – a living room with a balcony and a dining room with the open kitchen right next to it. Additionally, there's a new bathroom, a separate guest toilet, and a basement.
Rent per room: approximately CHF 1,500 including utilities.
About us:
We both work as engineers in energy planning and are pretty sports-crazy. Depending on the season, you can find us bouldering, doing mountain sports, road biking, sailing, skiing, or somewhere by the water. In the summer, we like to go to the Limmat or the lake after work, and on weekends, we often head to the mountains.
We also like to cook together, have a coffee or an after-work beer on the balcony, or spend a Sunday completely unspectacularly on the sofa. Homemade pizza has an unreasonably high priority for us, though.
We're looking for people who also want to live together without a shared apartment obligation program. We keep the community rooms clean and inviting – what your room looks like is your problem, though. ;)
Your exact age is pretty irrelevant to us. The chemistry isn't.
And because the Zurich apartment search eventually becomes a copy-paste marathon, there's a small filter:
🍕 Write us your favorite pizza topping first.
Then tell us briefly about yourself: Who are you, what do you do, what do you do in your free time, and how do you imagine a good shared apartment life?
No motivation letter, no job interview vibe – we just want to find out who we might be standing in the kitchen with soon.
We're looking forward to hearing from you!

In high-demand areas, property listers find themselves pre-selecting prospects to manage the number of viewings. Timing – first come, first served – is key, but other criteria can also influence selection. A high income doesn’t always mean an advantage – be honest about it.
