Lucerne train station is less than a 10-minute walk away. Arrival by car is not recommended due to the central location and expensive parking in nearby public garages. For bookings of 30 nights or more, a deposit of CHF 2,000.00 and a final cleaning fee of CHF 200.00 will be charged. These payments are to be made directly to HITrental after booking confirmation. Please note the following important information regarding additional fees. Optional additional services will only be charged if selected by the guest and include a baby bed for CHF 15.00 per booking, a pet fee of CHF 10.00 per night, and an additional cleaning for CHF 75.00 per cleaning (a monthly cleaning is included for stays of at least 45 nights). Mandatory fees and taxes include tourist taxes, which vary by city: in Lucerne CHF 4.90 per person and night (children up to 15 years are exempt; no tax with registration in the city); in Basel CHF 4.20 per person and night (children up to 12 years are exempt; no tax with registration in the city, maximum 30 nights charged); and in Zug CHF 1.00 per person and night (children up to 12 years are exempt; no tax with registration in the city).
