Description

As one of the first multi-family houses in Eastern Switzerland, the new building at Rappensteinstrasse 23/23a was constructed as a pure wood building. The entire load-bearing structure, all floors, ceilings, and walls were made with local woods by a Swiss wood construction company. This guarantees optimal living comfort, a particularly special living atmosphere, and of course an ecologically convincing concept, which was awarded the 1st prize of the Prix Lignum in 2018. The bright and attractively designed apartments all have a balcony or an outdoor seating area. Each apartment has its own washing machine and dryer. The bright ceilings make the wood construction visible, and the floors are covered with parquet throughout, with the exception of the wet cells. (See construction documentation for details)
