Description
We are a 5-person shared flat looking for a new member due to the departure of one of our flatmates.
The room is available from November 1st or 16th and is a temporary living arrangement with a fixed move-out date of March 31, 2027, as the house will unfortunately be demolished to make way for a new building. However, it is still fully intact.
Shared flat life with us is quite relaxed, and we meet up spontaneously during the week or on weekends for a beer/coffee on our terrace or in the garden. Tasks in the house are distributed during occasional flat meetings. We also have a cat in our household who likes to come by for cuddles when she's not off on adventures. Unfortunately, due to our cat, we cannot accommodate other cats or dogs in our household.
The house is large, has a lot of common space, and is well-equipped. The address is within a 10-minute walk from Uster train station, and it's even faster by bike or bus ;-). There's also a gas station with a Migrolino nearby, which is open daily until 23:45. Although we're not far from the city center, the house's surroundings are very quiet and close to the forest and meadows.
The house also has a laundry room in the basement with a washing machine and dryer, which is additionally equipped with a bathroom (toilet and shower). There are also two included parking spaces in front of the house and a garage, which is currently mainly used as a storage room and workshop.
The free room on the 1st floor is equipped with a built-in closet (also has white-painted doors, which are not shown in the photo) and the bed (including a new mattress) can be taken over for free. The room has Wi-Fi, and alternatively, you can also access the internet via cable. The walls were also freshly painted since the photo was taken in early October. You can also use the closets directly in front of the room, and there's enough space in the house if additional storage is needed. Without the closet, the usable area is approximately 12m², and the room also has access to a balcony shared with another flatmate's room.
