OPERATION AND USE

The MS J. J. Rousseau is currently approved for commercial operation and has a federal concession (BAV concession) for passenger transport.

The ship is used, among other things, for public operations. During the summer months as a passenger ferry between Schmerikon, Rapperswil, Lachen, and Altendorf with an existing contract with the participating municipalities. Additionally, monthly public full-moon cruises are offered.

Furthermore, the ship can be rented privately for weddings, corporate parties, team events, birthdays, baptisms, and farewell rituals. The ship is suitable for group sizes of 10 to approximately 35 people.
