Im Winter hat es Schnee und die Kantonsstrasse, die zum Dorf führt, ist kurvenreich. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in Wila sowie Dussnang (ca.7 km) Volg, und Turbenthal sowie Sirnach (ca. 10 km) Migros und Coop.
