We are looking for people who want to help shape the future in a practical way.
For many years, a special place has been developing on the Chuderboden near Malters: permaculture, biodiversity, water management, agriculture, and community life come together here. And we are still far from the end.
By the end of the year, several rooms will become available in our two apartments. That's why we're not just looking for people who would like to live on a beautiful farm. We're looking for people who want to become part of its further development with their hands, knowledge, and ideas.
Currently, we are particularly pleased to meet people with experience or genuine enthusiasm for:
permaculture and regenerative agriculture, garden and landscape construction, agroforestry and plants, wood construction and craftsmanship, technology and repairs, nature and landscape conservation, water management and ecological design.
You don't have to be able to do everything. What's much more important to us is that you think independently, take responsibility, and are willing to get involved.
The Chuderboden is not a finished project. That's exactly the opportunity: here you can still design, try out, build, and learn.
Transparency is important to us: the Chuderboden currently cannot offer paid positions. Therefore, you should be able to support yourself financially - for example, through a part-time job, self-employment, or another source of income.
We are not looking for free labor. And we are not looking for people who just want to live cheaply on a farm.
We are looking for people who identify with this place and say:
"I don't just want to live here. I want to help build something here."
In return, you will find nature, knowledge, design scope, community, opportunities to retreat, and the chance to shape the further development of an extraordinary place.
