On approximately 100 m² of living space, this new apartment in Küsnacht offers everything that modern living is about. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious living and dining area create a harmonious room layout that is both functional and inviting, with the option to add an additional room if needed. The approximately 20 m² large terrace extends the living space outdoors and invites you to relax in the fresh air.

Realized in the sustainable Minergie standard, the project combines contemporary architecture with energy-efficient living comfort. The building is organized as a two-unit structure with two units per floor; a rear-located staircase accesses the apartments and at the same time ensures a clear, functional structure. The facade, on the other hand, is inspired by the elegant clarity of the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela and takes up the idea of subtraction: areas subtracted from the cube are highlighted by visible masonry from the plastered surfaces and give the building a unique aesthetic. This combination of different materials and surface structures creates depth and character.
