School

The municipalities of Laax, Falera, Sagogn, and Schluein operate their elementary school together. Teaching from kindergarten to 6th grade takes place in Sagogn and Schluein, and exclusively in Romansh. Foreign-language children are supported in acquiring Romansh within the framework of cantonal guidelines for two years. The upper-level teaching takes place in Laax and is mainly conducted in German.

Tourism and leisure

In winter, the sunny plain of Sagogn invites you to winter hiking and cross-country skiing. The LAAX ski area with over 224 kilometers of pistes and 29 lift facilities is located in the immediate vicinity. It stretches across the municipal areas of Sagogn, Flims, Laax, and Falera.

In summer, Sagogn also has a lot to offer. The "Buna Vista Golf" golf course is located in the sunny and idyllic plain of the villages of Sagogn and Schluein. And from spring to late autumn, very well-maintained hiking trails and mountain bike trails invite you to athletic heights.
