Le majestueux château de Martheray est érigé sur les hauteurs de la commune de Begnins et surplombe le lac Léman et la chaine des Alpes, face au Mont-Blanc.

Edifié au XVème siècle, il fut agrandi au cours du XIXème siècle, et entièrement restauré dans les règles de l'art en 2015. Un travail méticuleux qui a permis d'offrir à ce château de plus de 2000m2 habitables le confort moderne tout en préservant le classicisme originel de sa bâtisse. L'ensemble architectural est splendide et le bâtiment principal ainsi que les annexes permettent un volume unique.

Une belle allée bordée d'arbres séculaires mène à une cour intérieure et permet l'accès au château ainsi qu'à une dépendance aménagée en logement pour le personnel. La bâtisse principale offre de majestueuses pièces de réceptions, ainsi que 7 chambres à coucher toutes en suite.

Il s'agit indéniablement de l'un des domaine les plus majestueux de la Côte.

The majestic castle of Martheray is erected on the heights of the commune of Begnins, and overlooks Lake Geneva and the chain of the Alps, facing the Mont-Blanc.

Built in the 15th century, it was enlarged during the 19th century, and fully restored according to the rules of the art in 2015. A meticulous work that has made possible to offer this castle, of more than 2000sqm of living space, modern comfort while preserving the original classicism of its building. The architectural ensemble is splendid and its main building and annexe offer a unique volume.

A beautiful driveway lined with centuries-old trees, lead to an interior courtyard, and provide access to the castle and annex, currently converted into staff accommodation. The main building offers majestic reception rooms, and 7 ensuite bedrooms.
