Girondella represents a new way of living, in harmony with nature and oriented towards sustainability. The project arises from the transformation of the historic Arogno watch factory, today refashioned as an example of energy-efficient design.
The particular conformation of the plot, adjacent to the stream fed by the "Sorgente Santa", allowed the recovery of a hydroelectric turbine capable of generating energy for the entire complex, ensuring high self-sufficiency.
Inserted in the natural context of Val Mara, the housing develops on a single level with a rational and harmonious layout. The entrance leads to a large living area with large glass surfaces that ensure brightness and visual continuity with the outside. The modern kitchen integrates perfectly with the living room and dining area, creating a convivial and functional space.
The sleeping area includes three bedrooms, including a master suite with private bathroom, as well as a second complete bathroom and a technical-laundry room.
